Games, 3D and animation
Games, real-time 3D worlds and animated content for learning, marketing and entertainment.
Worlds people want to spend time in
Games and 3D are some of the most effective ways to teach, explain and engage. People stay longer, remember more and come back. We design and build games, real-time 3D worlds and animation for learning, brands, events and entertainment.
We built oodlü, a 3D open world for learning used by schools and home educators, and Worldspace, our platform for real-time 3D worlds and hybrid events. For clients we've made multiplayer games for brand launches, game-based learning tools and animated content for screens of every size.
Because the people you speak to are the people who build it, you get straight answers about what's realistic. Which devices does it need to run on? How many players at once? What will it cost to add more content later? We work these out early, so the game you imagined is the one people play.
We work in Unity and Unreal Engine and handle the whole process: game design, 3D art, animation, programming, testing and launch. If you already have artists or a creative team, we'll work alongside them as the technical partner.

Talk to DougQuestions about games and 3D projects
Which game engines do you use?
Mainly Unity, Unreal Engine, three.js and phaser. We choose based on the devices it needs to run on, the visual quality you want and your budget.
Can you make games that teach?
Yes. Learning games are one of our specialities. Doug built Zondle, a game-based learning platform with two million users, and we built oodlü, a 3D world for learning.
Which devices can your games run on?
Web browsers, phones, tablets, PCs, headsets and large screens. We can also let people use their phones as controllers with the Worldspace Remote.
Do you create the 3D art and animation too?
Yes. We handle design, art, animation and programming, or work with your artists if you already have them.
How long does a game take to make?
Most projects take three to six months. Smaller games and animations can be quicker.
