We've been building for learning for a long time

Doug built Zondle, a learning platform that grew to two million users with a very small team (he was the only developer). Since then we've built platforms for universities, assessment tools and oodlü, our own 3D open world for learning.

We understand how teachers plan, how learners stay motivated and what schools need from safeguarding and data protection. That means less explaining for you and fewer surprises once real learners arrive.

What we build for learning

  • Learning platforms and virtual learning environments
  • Games and gamified learning
  • 3D worlds for learning
  • Assessment and quiz tools
  • Content authoring tools for teachers
  • Training platforms for organisations

Things we've built

  • A learning platform that scaled to two million users.
  • A 3D open world for learning, used by schools and home educators.
  • A programme teaching pupils to inhibit intuitive answers in maths and science.
  • Experiential games helping struggling learners improve maths and English skills.
  • Casual games enabling learners to learn any subject in any language.
  • Research using virtual LEGO construction to improve spatial and maths skills in children.
  • A mobile and web app teaching young adults business skills.

Questions about learning projects

Do you understand safeguarding and data protection in schools?

Yes. We design for UK GDPR and school safeguarding from the start, including age-appropriate design and careful handling of pupil data.

Can you work with our existing learning platform?

Usually, yes. We can integrate with common systems through single sign-on, data exports or their APIs.

Can a learning platform grow to a large number of users?

Yes. Zondle, which Doug built, scaled to two million users. We plan the infrastructure so that growth doesn't mean a rebuild.

Do you build for home education as well as schools?

Yes. oodlü, our own 3D learning world, is designed for both schools and families.
