Immersive experiences and installations

Installations, exhibits and live experiences that people remember, built to run reliably in galleries, venues, shops and public spaces.

Experiences that work every time the doors open

An immersive experience has to do two things well. It has to delight the people who use it, and it has to keep working, day after day, often without anyone technical on site. We design and build for both.

We've made interactive installations for landmark venues, touch-screen exhibits for museums, phone-controlled games for brand launches and hybrid events that connect a live audience with people joining from around the world. Some run for a single evening. Others stay open for years.

Because the people you speak to are the people who build it, the hard questions get answered early. How many people can use it at once? What happens if the network drops? How will staff restart it? We plan for these from the first conversation, so the experience you imagined is the one visitors get.

We handle the whole build: concept and interaction design, software, 3D and animation, hardware integration, testing on site and support once it's live. If you already have a creative team, we'll slot in alongside them as the technical partner.

What we build in this area

  • Immersive experiences

Spaces and stories people step into, combining projection, sound, screens and interaction.

  • Immersive installations

Permanent or temporary pieces for venues, offices and public spaces, built to run unattended.

  • Interactive exhibits and museum installations

Touch screens, sensors and hands-on exhibits that help visitors explore collections and ideas.

  • Brand activations and live event experiences

Memorable moments at launches, conferences and festivals, designed for crowds and quick turnarounds.

  • Hybrid real-time experiences

Portals between physical and virtual spaces, where people on site and online share the same moment.

  • Multi-location and multiplayer experiences

Linked screens and venues, so people in different places can play or take part together.

  • Augmented and mixed reality

Digital content layered onto the real world, through phones, tablets or headsets.

  • Large-format screen content and digital signage

Content and software for video walls, LED screens and networks of displays.

  • Offline, kiosk and on-site applications

Software that runs reliably without an internet connection and recovers on its own.

  • Software and hardware integrations

Sensors, cameras, controllers, lighting and custom hardware connected to the software that drives them.

Questions about immersive projects

How long does an installation take to build?

Most take three to six months from first conversation to opening. Smaller activations can be quicker if the idea and the venue are already clear.

Can the installation run without an internet connection?

Yes. We build most installations to run fully offline, start up on their own and recover from power cuts without staff needing to do anything technical.

Do you supply the hardware?

We can specify, source and set up screens, computers, sensors and controllers, or work with the hardware and AV partners you already use.

Can people in different locations take part together?

Yes. We link screens and venues in real time, so visitors in different cities can play or collaborate in the same experience.

What happens after it opens?

We test on site before launch and offer support afterwards, from remote monitoring to updates and new content.

We use Google Analytics to see how people use this site, so we can improve it. Turning analytics off stops it completely.
